I was set the task of creating a yarn
installation.
I used different materials and
technique,
which I felt would interact best
with the
surrounding space.
I
chose to create my yarn installation in this
area
because I thought that the shapes and
colours in
this area were interesting.
I
chose to use plain colours such as black,
white, navy
and dark green. I used the light
colours to
cover up the dark areas and the
dark colours
to cover up/ fill the light areas and
open spaces.
My idea/ concept was to create
a
monochrome yarn installation.
Chiharu
Shiota's work was my inspiration for
this yarn
bombing piece. I like her choice of
dark
colours throughout her work.
